Pathfinder Engineers and Architects LLP provides Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture and Commissioning for public and private clients throughout New York State. The firm, founded in 1998, has a staff of more than 30 and is certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise by the Empire State Development Corporation. Twelve employees have earned the LEED Accredited Professional designation.

Pathfinder — since its inception — has implemented sustainable design for its projects. As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, which represents all segments of the building industry, Pathfinder—and its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals — are utilizing the LEED rating system as it designs sustainable buildings. Pathfinder is an ally of the Energy Star Program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a member/contributor of Labs 21.

Pathfinder strives to identify and implement cost-effective energy efficiency measures in all of its designs for new and existing facilities. Pathfinder provides energy modeling, commissioning, and retro-commissioning services. Pathfinder is a NYSERDA FlexTech provider, through which we are able to provide a variety of technical assistance services to institutions and companies in New York State, tailored to their energy and environmental needs and supported by a variety of funding options.
